Age Gate/Complianz

Hello,

I’m experiencing a conflict between the Age Gate plugin and a cookie consent plugin (Complianz).

Context:

• WordPress + Divi (latest version)
• Age Gate (tested with “No caching (JavaScript)” and “Standard (PHP)” methods)
• Complianz GDPR plugin active

Issue:
When both plugins are active, the Age Gate modal appears correctly, but the buttons (e.g. “Yes”) are not clickable.

Observations:

• If I disable Complianz, Age Gate works perfectly
• If I disable Age Gate, Complianz works perfectly
• When both are active, it seems that an invisible overlay (likely from the cookie plugin) blocks interaction with Age Gate
• The issue occurs both in normal and private browsing
• Behavior can sometimes appear inconsistent (likely due to script loading timing)

What I tried:

• Switching Age Gate method (JS / PHP)
• Removing all custom JS and CSS
• Disabling cache and security plugins
• Testing with default WordPress environment

Question:
Is there a recommended way to ensure compatibility with cookie consent plugins like Complianz?
Does Age Gate provide a hook or event after validation that could help control script loading order?
