• Dear Give Support,

I’ve been developing a new website, and I selected and installed Give for fundraising activity. All was well in testing on the original test site with no errors, but having migrated the whole website into a new space with the same hosting company, I’m now getting the dreaded ‘Your site appears to be blocking the WordPress ajax interface. This may cause issues with Give.’

The hosting provider did all the backend database changes, and I’ve asked them to review the ‘Ajax error’ support pages with me, but so far we’ve not been able to find the source of the problem relating to the Ajax errors.

I’ve also tried deactivating, deleting, and reinstalling the plugin. The only thing of note is that I’m using an edited hosts file on my PC to take me to the new website now that its still in test mode but sitting in its new location on the webserver.

Do you have any suggestions I can try?

    Regards,
    Roland Norton

Have you read through our doc on that?
    https://givewp.com/documentation/core/frequent-troubleshooting-issues/admin-ajax-blocked/

Let me know if that provides you any insights.

Have you disabled all other plugins to see if any of them might be blocking admin-ajax?

    Hi Matt
Yes I’ve been through your documentation link, and have forwarded it to my hosting company who carried out the migration for me.
I’ve also been through the other plugins this evening and disabled them to see if it made any difference, but the error still persists.
Prior to migration into the new domain name space, the plugin was working well under testing and displayed no errors with Ajax or anything else.
Any other ideas would be much appreciated.
    Regards
    Roland
