 * In our **previous conversation**, the AMP code you provided has been automatically**
   removed** from the **function.php** file, probably due to theme update, I have
   to enter the code again and again, what should I **do**?
 * Is it **possible** that once the code is entered, it will **not be deleted**?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fall-amp-code-automatic-removed-from-function-php-file%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hello [@immmukeshpatel](https://wordpress.org/support/users/immmukeshpatel/)
 * Thank you for reaching out to us, We advised to add the code in child themes `
   functions.php` or in custom plugin.
 * If you are not aware of how to create a child theme, please refer to [How to create a child theme](https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/#how-to-create-a-child-theme)
   from WordPress documentation also, please refer to article [Creating custom plugin for WordPress](https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-a-wordpress-plugin/)
 * We hope this helps!
