# All html code disappears

* Hey,
* Im trying to add some linebreaks,
, but they keep disappearing. I add them,
update the page and it works, but when I try to change something within the tab
they disappear again.
* Any idea of whats going on?

* Sorry I didn’t read your message carefully, you are adding br tags (the right
way) and when you save it disappears from the content area, is that correct?
* Are you adding the br tags to the Text tab of the editor?

Thanks for your response,
yes I am typing it in text, not visual. It appears as my code is kept if I don’t
open the WYSIWYG window, if I would do that it stays and updates the page. BUT
if i edit it again, the code is gone and my formatting is gone when updateing
the page.

* Hi there,
* What if you use the WYSIWYG and hit the return key to jump line? Will it stay
with the line break or does it disappear too?
* I don’t think it’s related to the plugin because I can’t reproduce this on my
local install and it’s not been reported before.
* If you still can’t make it work with the Visual mode, I’ll try to look for other
solutions.
