• Sorry, all these paths are hard coded. After editing many files still could not get it to work.
Use only in plain vanilla installs.

    Thank you for your post.

No paths are hardcoded, they are dynamic.
Can you please elaborate on which parts are hardcoded?

Can you give me some additional information on this. Because when I moved servers (same host) the images no longer appear. The thumbnails are broken. Also, when I go to create a new gallery from the insert from post images, it does not work. When I reviewed the database, all paths seem correct. What could it be…we want to go live? Your time is appreciated.

Thank you for your message, dsaro.

The reason for the thumbnails not appearing could be something else.

Please check under Slideshow > Configuration, there is a TimThumb testing tool to see if TimThumb is working as it should. There is a URL which you can click to open a TimThumb image. If it doesn’t appear, there should be an error.

If the problem persists, can you please pass a URL for me to check?

I look forward to your response.

I did find my answer – the support team helped me out. I am working off a temp site and it has tilde in the URL so it does not play nicely with TimThumb.php so there was a link to the fix. So so happy. It worked.

    Thank you for your response.

I’m glad to hear that this problem was resolved.

Yes, unfortunately TimThumb doesn’t work with the tilde (~) character in the URL. It is a known problem and there are some fixes for it out there but the best way is to just prevent it in your URL due to the character.
