# Allow Backorders

 * Hi James – great plugin!
 * Would it be possible to add the option to allow backorders as well? I need to
   allow overselling on my site, so if orders could be placed on products that allow
   backorders that would be perfect!

 * It should work for backorders with one caveat. Backorders are not allowed until
   all of the actual products are actually soldout.

 * Thanks for the feedback James. Yes, you are correct – backorders are possible
   once stock-on-hand is sold out.
 * It would be great if customers could place an order consisting of stock-on-hand
   and backorders, so would you be interested in adding that functionality as an
   option to your plugin?

    Would there be a way to get this enhancement bumped up
   the To-Do list for a fee? And if so, how much would it be?
