# Allow Posting

 * The allow_posting part of the shortode is not working at all. I am trying to 
   show the activity stream of a specific user on a page and to allow posting. The
   activity stream is showingm but not the post update

    I am sorry for the inconvenience.
 * It should work out of the box, if it is not working either the theme or another
   plugin is doing something oout of the character.

 * It is used to load the activity posting form from theme.
 * Which theme are you using(May be it can give some clue)?

 * Thanks for the prompt reply. I have tried deactivated all plugins (except for
   Geodirectory which is essential) but i still do not have the post update. I am

 * Unless i am doing something stupid with the shortcode!!! I am using [activity-
   stream user_id=3218 allow_posting=0] and i also tried allow_posting=1 as i wasnt
   sure
