 * Hey there,
    since WP 3.9 there is an automatic security update-Settings in wp-
   config.php
 * This Plugin even blocks that updates, wich is not the best idea because theese
   Updates just Fixing Security Issues (like YOAST SEO theese days or WordPress
   XML RPC SPAM Problem end of last year).
 * Could you add an Option to let theese updates beeing done thourgh WordPress?

 * Hi Oliver,
 * the WP Automatic Background Updates system is quite complex as it allows to specifically
   disable and enable updates of plugins, themes and core with different severity
   levels each.
 * Most people install my plugin to completely eliminiate all outgoing connections(
   e.g., for faster local development), so they probably don’t care about all these
   update types and severity levels. To be honest, I wouldn’t want to bring that
   configuration overkill to the users. I’ve had many requests to allow different
   types of updates on an options page, but the more requests I got the more I refused
   to bloat the plugin with options and settings pages. I’d like my plugin to be
   plug’n’play. Install, activate, no remote requests and updates anymore.
 * Long story short: Maybe [https://wordpress.org/plugins/stops-core-theme-and-plugin-updates/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/stops-core-theme-and-plugin-updates/)
   better fits your needs here. 🙂

 * Easy Updates Manager is about to have a big update which will still allow security
   updates. You will be able to toggle them in the settings.
