# Amazon Associate Program

 * Hello,
 * I have just signed up to the Amazon Associate program and I am trying to link
   to a product (Text and Image) into a blog post.
 * I understand how to generate the html from the Amazon site however I don’t know
   where I post the html in my blog. I tried just pasting it in the post but that
   didn’t work, neither did it work pasting it in the script section of the post.
   Do I need a certain widget or something.
 * This is what the product code looks like, then it says to paste it into the code
   for your Website (thats what I’m having trouble finding)

 * To put that code in a blog post, make sure you’re editing your post in TEXT mode,
   not VISUAL (the tab at the top right of your text edit box).

 * Thanks for your response! I appreciate any help.
 * I hit the Text tab you are speaking of and I tried pasting the html code in the
   post but nothing appeared. Is there something else I need to do or edit the code
   in any way.

 * This is the site.
 * So basically I was trying to add a product link for a product I recommended via“
   add product link” and it generates the html code. Then it says “Highlight and
   copy the HTML below, then paste it into the code for your Web site.”
