 * Hi
 * Your plugin looks very promising indeed
 * One feature which is quite an important one, is one that is available in a WP
   plugin called Local Azon.
    This is the only plugin I have seen it in so far
 * It is about localisation.
    Most plugins go as far as just localising the affiliate
   link, but the problem with that is that every amazon site might not have that
   product under the same code, or not that exact product but one similar, etc…
   Local Azon allows you to fine tune the products shown for that amazon link, such
   that you can ensure that you have a product shown for every possible amazon locale.
   Also, if a particular amazon site does not have the product, you can also tell
   the plugin to show a different amazon site where that product exists This additional
   features ensures that you maximise every possible amazon site for products advertised
 * Have a look at the video [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qm4Dl1QkZQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qm4Dl1QkZQ)
 * Are you considering adding this functionality ?
    If so, your plugin would be
   streaks ahead of the other plugins that offer localisation
 * If you feel that is not something you would want to add, that’s OK, but I would
   then probably buy Local Azon, as those features are just too good to miss out
   on
 * I hope this post helps you make your WP plugin even greater

 * Hi,
 * The plugin does something similar, except for the last bit sending you to a non-
   locale Amazon site.
 * Firstly you can specify asin’s specific to the locale using the following arguments
   in the shortcode:
 *     ```
       [amazon asin[us]=0123456789&asin[uk]=9876543210&asin[fr]=5647383902]
       ```
 * There is an option that enables ‘search links’, if this is enabled then the plugin
   will generate a link to the local Amazon site using a search for the product
   rather than a direct link (if no ASIN is specified).
 * I’m currently working on an option so that the plugin will redirect to your ‘
   default’ locale if the product is not available.
 * Hope that helps,
 * Paul
 * Hi Paul
    that sounds very promising In the case you use ==> [amazon asin[us]=
   0123456789&asin[uk]=9876543210&asin[fr]=5647383902] what happens for the locales
   that are not specified ? What asin will they use ?
 * What would also be useful is the option to send an email to the owner/administrator
   of the website whenever a product is not available, so that he/she can update
   those links. (sort of an automatic broken link notifier for this plugin)
 * Hi,
 * Where the ASIN is not specified it attempts to use the one from the sites ‘default
   locale’. The assumption being that the author of the site will get the ones from
   their own locale correct.
 * I’ve been trying to get the ‘cache refresh’ operation done using WordPress Cron(
   i.e. in the background), but not had much success yet.
 * If I get that working then whenever the plugin comes across an cache entry that
   has failed to return product data it could email the site owner.
 * Alternatively I could add a admin page to manually check the content of the product
   cache, highlighting items that are broken.
 * Paul
