# AMP Errors

 * Hi,
 * I am many AMP errors appearing on Google Console. I’ve searched the archive and
   found a similar problem: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/amp-errors-everywhere/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/amp-errors-everywhere/)
   However it appears this was a problem with the WP Rocket Plugin, which I do not
   have.
 * These are some of the errors that appear:
    The mandatory attribute ‘amp-custom’
   is missing in tag ‘style amp-custom’. The parent tag of tag ‘style amp-custom’
   is ‘body’, but it can only be ‘head’. Custom JavaScript is not allowed. The mandatory
   attribute ‘action-xhr’ is missing in tag ‘FORM [method=POST]’. The tag ‘FORM [
   method=POST]’ requires including the ‘amp-form’ extension JavaScript. The attribute‘
   style’ in tag ‘label’ is set to the invalid value ‘display: none !important;’.

 * I can see there are styles being added by the ngg_resource_manager_marker.
 * Also, the MailChimp for WordPress plugin is adding custom scripts and styles 
   and the form.
 * If you switch to using [AMP theme support](https://github.com/Automattic/amp-wp/wiki/Adding-Theme-Support)
   in [1.0-beta1](https://make.xwp.co/2018/07/06/amp-plugin-release-v1-0-beta1/?amp)
   these validation errors will not leak out of your site to Google Search Console,
   and it should help fix the form to work in AMP since it appears it is getting
   added outside the content area in the legacy AMP template.

 * Hi Weston,
 * Thanks for your reply, I’ve deactivated the NextGen Gallery plugin which was 
   adding the styles through ngg_resource_manager_marker, this seems to have reduced
   many of the errors. I’ve also followed up with the MailChimp for WordPress plugin
   which says this is a known error on their part.
