 * We encountered this AMP HTML issue on a web story page – [https://www.screencast.com/t/LAc2DXQj6](https://www.screencast.com/t/LAc2DXQj6).
   Is there a way to edit the code generated by the plugin? If not, can you assist
   us to fix the issue?
 * I’m using the latest version of the plugin (1.24.0)
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Famp-html-issues%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * [@jbayog](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jbayog/) Hello there. Thanks for
   reaching out. It looks like your site’s theme or another plugin may actually
   be caused by a conflict between Web Stories and your theme or plugin and stripping
   the required `<!DOCTYPE html>` code from your stories, resulting in this error.
 * One way to troubleshoot which one could be stripping that code is by turning
   off your theme and plugins one at a time, reenabling the theme/plugin one by
   one, and retesting at [https://search.google.com/test/amp](https://search.google.com/test/amp)
   until the error displays again.
 * We can also check for any obvious plugin conflicts if you wish to provide your

 * Thanks [@luckynasan](https://wordpress.org/support/users/luckynasan/) . It was
   a conflict with our caching plugin
