Have you assigned a page as front page?

    Hey RudySimons,

I’m really sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

Since you have set a page as the frontpage in the settings, the amp homepage is also reflecting this change. We don’t have a work around for this at the moment, but we are trying to figure out the solution and add it in the upcoming update releases.

    Regards,
    Ahmed

    Hi Ahmed,

It is good that the AMP homepage is the same page as the desktop version, isn’t it? I am wondering why nothing can be seen. I know iframes are not supported in AMP, but how about visual composer (which is plain HTML, right)?

    Regards,

    Rudy

    Hey Rudy,

Visual composer is plain HTML, yes, but AMP has rewritten the guidelines and has created a new way of adding the elements which they call AMP HTML, so we cannot just throw any html on the page and hope that they will get validated.

It’s a bit technical but I hope I’m able to explain it properly.

    Regards,
    Ahmed

Did I see correctly this issue hasn’t been fixed in the last update?

    Hey RudySimons,

Rendering Visual Composer’s Shortcodes are bit tricky in the AMP. Our hands are tied because of the way VC renders the shortcodes. This is very complex, We are still trying to figure out the solution.
