• A somewhat unhelpful error message…

For the user this is a “Keyboard Error, Press Any Key to Continue”
and for the admin, me, it doesn’t tell me wtf I have misconfigured.
    (although I haven’t configured anything so I don’t have a clue where to start)… help 🙂

In my current install on WordPress it is possible to logout, access profile when logged in using the widget…

… Like others when I refresh the page manually the user is logged in.

just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

I am having the same issue with the Ajax plugin in. It looks to be when wordpress requires the user to input a captcha math problem on the wp-admin side.
