Through the Types Plugin, I have created a standard custom post type (very similar to posts). I have been customizing the admin columns for this plugin, but for some baffling reason I absolutely CANNOT add ‘Analytics’ as a column. I have searched the web up and down about this and toggled a bunch of settings to test things, but I haven’t found an answer.

At first, it lists ‘Analytics’ under the ‘Default’ admin column heading, but when I click it, the screen just disappears and the column is not added. After I click it a few more times it simply disappears from the ‘Default’ menu altogether.

I have tried to add other columns and they were no problem. It’s just the analytics.

Has anyone else had this problem, or do you, the developers, might know how I could solve it?

I’ll be sure to rate 5 stars after I can resolve this ^^

Thanks for your enquiry. What is it exactly that the “Analytics” column should display? Is the column displayed when Admin Columns is disabled?

    Cheers!

    Ahh, I figured it out.

To respond to you, it seems that the column was an addition of the Google Analytics Dashboard for WP plugin. As I said before, Admin Columns just refused to add this column for some reason to my custom post type (thought it was easily customizable in ‘posts’ and ‘pages’). What I did was just reset my configuration for the custom post columns and started at the beginning, and magically it worked! So it seems to be just like a refreshing issue or something.

Hope this is helpful for those who may have this inquiry in the future.

    Thanks!
