# Analytics Report Export sends empty CSV

 * Hello,
 * A client of mine is having an issue when they attempt to export a CSV orders 
   report in the ‘Analytics’ section of Woocommerce. After filtering to the desired
   results, they click ‘Download’, which generates an email to be sent to them. 
   Said email has a link to download the CSV file, but when opening the CSV file,
   no data is present.
 * I’ve been unable to reproduce this error myself, so I’m wondering if anyone else
   has run into this issue, and how they solved it. Also, is there a place where
   I, as the website host and administrator, can view a log of these exports and
   even download them myself either from the WordPress back-end or the database?
 * Finally, sometimes when I go to export a CSV file, WordPress allows me download
   it directly from the back-end, and at other times it sends me an email with the
   CSV instead. Is there something specific that triggers the email delivery rather
   than allowing me to download it directly?

 * I have run into that situation before. If I recall correctly, the request was
   causing a fatal error on the site.
 * Try going to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and use the drop-down at the top to 
   find any fatal error logs that match the date when the report should be downloaded.
   Then click the view button.
 * Hopefully, there will be some error messages here to help point us to what’s 
   at the root of the problem.
