    Is it possible to have not only [and] rules but [or] as there is a number of options that apply to more than one selection?

    Or is it possible to assign the same numeric ‘value’ to different options and use that eg
    show A if selection a = “1” and selection b =[list item]?

    Or is it necessary to create individual rules for each selection.

    If you create 2 rules like this:

    show [group-1] if a=b
show [group-1] if a=c

    it works as OR. So yes, you need to create 2 rules.
