• Hi,
I’m also using andreas09 for a website and although it looks great in IE, it acts weird in firefox. The white content box extends beyond the light background and it tumbles over the footer and continues on it’s merry way as that dark gray background of the footer also extends to hold the content. In IE, all areas extend to hold the content.

I can’t tell how to fix it. I’m baffled. I know it’s not the WP template, but I can’t seem to find the problem and I figured somebody here might know.

I’ve been editing and publishing with Frontpage so don’t know if that caused a problem or ??? (I know…people hate FP, but haven’t taken time to learn anything else)

    Thanks!

  • It worked fine in FF before you made any changes, so look at the changes you’ve made.

Make it look good in FF first, then use a separate stylesheet (via a conditional comment) for IE 6.

I’ve used that theme quite successfully on several websites (without the use of an IE-specific stylesheet) – if you could provide a link to your site so we can see the error and all, that would help…
