    I am trying to setup a “Happy New Year” event that will repeat annually. I set the start and end date to December 31, 2025. I set the start time to 12:00 am and the end time to 12:45 pm. (I tried using all day event, too, with no difference in the issue.) I then click on the “Repeat” tab. I set it to repeat this event every 1 year(s). The repeat on section says “Yearly on November 22nd” (today’s date) instead of “Yearly on December 31st” (event start date). I think this is a bug. An annual event should default to one year from the start date, not one year from the date created. Variable date annual events (Last Monday of May: Memorial Day, 4th Thursday of November: Thanksgiving Day) work fine. Fixed date events (July 4th: Independence Day (USA), December 31: New Years Eve) do not.

    (Note: This is not an actual “event”. I use EventPrime to schedule ads in our weekly newsletter. That’s what this “event” is for. I’d like to do this for other holidays, too, but first this needs to work as expected.)

    We want to confirm that the issue you’re seeing is only related to how the date is displayed in the backend Repeat tab. The actual repeat events are being generated correctly on the proper dates (December 31st for each year), as you also noticed.
