# Annually-repeating posts, please

 * Can somebody please make a plugin or a hack that allows posts to be published
   but hidden; then on a certain day, appear at the top of the index page, disappear
   the next day, and reappear one year later on the same date?
 * I am trying to make an annual events calendar, in which people can only see and
   respond to the events on the day they are held, which repeats annually.
 * It bothers me a lot that there don’t seem to be any similar plugins on the web,
   besides a nearly four-year-old plugin that hasn’t worked for years.
 * This seems like a pretty vital plugin for people who want to display events that
   repeat every week, month, or year, especially if they don’t want people to see
   the post until the proper day. PLEASE, can someone make one or show me how this
   can be done?
