 * I’ve got the plug-in installed on my site, and most of it I understand fairly
   well. I am wondering though if I should anonymize IPs while tracking? I’m not
   sure if I should do this …. or not.

 * I always keep this feature enabled on my websites. Enabling it can also solve
   some possible legal issues, in some countries, like Germany, regarding users 
   privacy.
