 * For months I have not been able to log into my blog. Every time I go to login
   it goes no where. I enter my username and password, hit login, and it just clears
   the username and password field. The only way that I can log into my blog is
   to hit the “Lost your password?” button and wait for a new password. With the
   new password I can login. I then go in and change password. It appears to save
   the new password but when I try to login it fails. It also fails if I don’t change
   the password and try to reuse the one that WP emailed to me. I so tired of this.
   I’ve searched the archives. There are some very conplex suggested possible solutions.
   Unfortuately they’re beyond my ability. I will gladly pay someone to resolve
   this issue for me.
 * Thanks,
    Lowell [tindellpictures@yahoo.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/another-login-problem/tindellpictures@yahoo.com?output_format=md)

 * WordPress is like more like HeadPress (like in a VICE!)
 * I can almost hear Chandler Bing’s voice: “can they MAKE this anymore difficult?”

 * Bummer, no helpful replies. I thought I would check while I’m waiting for WP
   to email me yet another “new” password that will only be useful for one login.
 * Anyone? Help?

 * Heres a thought — once you get that password why not take advatage of having
   it and update the version of WordPress that you are using.
 * Why?
 * Because quite honestly, since you are running a version that has exploits in
   the wild (code on the web that allows your blog to be hacked) for it, theres
   really know way of knowing WHAT your problem is.
 * In other words, for all we know, someone has hacked your blog, and is having
   a great time resetting your password every few days.
 * Support is a two way street, you need and want help, you need to also “take care”
   of things.
