    Hi

Works great, creates variation names such as BG2145-Small-light-graphite on my t-shirts

however, i now what to match my bag SKUs with Amazon and I have red-light-graphite for a bag using the replace with hyphens and dashes, which i have always used, but my bag SKUs on Amazon have the SKU of redlightgrsphite so I need an option to remove the hyphens and dashes as well, update the bags and then change back the options when i do t-shirts

    Cheers
    Just an update suggestion

Hey @albertramsbottom, thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the delay here! I’m afraid that modifying the SKU output like this isn’t possible by default. There are hooks in the plugin that would make it possible to customize with the help of a developer, but we don’t have any options at present to do this.

Sorry I don’t have better news for you here! Can I help out with any other questions?

    Best,

Thanks for that, its a shame as just a couple more options and this plugin would be fantastic, well it all ready is but just doesnt actually match what most people have in ebay or amazon etc on current products

    Cheers folks

I dont suppose you know of another plugin that does?

I’m afraid I don’t know of one that will let you map the format / separator like this. If you’re using WooCommerce 3.1+, you could consider using the built-in import / export functionality to change this — (1) generate all product SKUs with our plugin, (2) export products, (3) do a find-replace on the SKU column to remove dashes (I like GSheets for this), (4) re-import. I know it’s a bit manual, but given I don’t *think* your SKUs are likely changing often, this can make it faster than re-entering them.

OK thanks for the help. I was just thinking that an option to remove spaces or hyphens or / would be sufficient

    Cheers
