 * Hey guys,
 * I am having a simiar problem to “argh… sidebar is driving me bananas”.
 * Recently, the widgets in my one and only right sidebar jumped to the bottom of
   my posts on the left hand side.
 * I’ve tried going through my recent posts and changing them to drafts but to no
   avail. I’m not too hot on html so when I started messing around with the <div
   > thing it didn’t really work out – where is that supposed to go exactly? None
   of my post have div in them anyway, maybe that’s the problem lol??
 * I’ve gone through deleting pictures I had put widget boxes that where also attached
   to draft posts – deleted those posts too. I’ve deleted recent plugins.
 * Any help would be most apprectiated, it really driving me mad!!!

 * in your case, it does not seem to be caused by a post – there are the same validation
   errors on the front page and all (the three latest, tested) single posts.
 * > Line 229, Column 6: end tag for element “div” which is not open
 * (the line number varies with the different content.)
 * so this extra `</div>` seems to be in the template (probably index.php ?)
 * also, at the moment, **the sidebar is on the side **(checked in IE7 and Firefox3.6).

 * Hey alchymyth,
 * Thank you for your time. I have just checked in IE and indeed the sidebar widgets
   are there on the side! They are not on my Firefox however, also 3.6. I have re-
   opened Firefox and refreshed the page numerous times and definetly not working
   on mine.
 * I have had a look in index.php but, honestly I don’t know what I’m supposed to
   be doing with the div thing?

 * you could paste the code of index.php into a [http://wordpress.pastebin.com/](http://wordpress.pastebin.com/)
   and post the link to it here.
    someone might heve a look at it and might be able
   to help.
