# Any DB plugin?

 * I am a new user to WordPress and have very very limited to zero technical abilities.
   I would like to know if I could set up a database from which information can 
   be received and fed to and set up something like [http://www.imdb.com](http://www.imdb.com)
   where users can retrieve data from a search box. I don’t have any idea how to
   deal with php though can follow simple instructions to do the required.

   database, if that is what you are expecting then the answer is **yes** you can
   do it..

 * I have already installed WordPress and am using it at [http://www.photozeus.com](http://www.photozeus.com).
   What I actually want to know is if I can set up something like a lyrics site 
   which has a data on number of bands. I want to set up a site with data on many
   photographers which can be retrieved from the Database and NOT the archive posts
   by the user. Something like a database site.

    what i meant was you can create database site. You can add content
   and also retrieve the content from database. I’m not talking about the technical
   aspect.

 * Can I know how to? I tried doing stuff. I want to actually store some data of
   individual photographers and can be accessed by a registered user using search.
   Also, I can alter the data if there are any changes. How do I achieve that? Which
   plugin?
