Any replacement for Session?

    Dear All,

    Actually my website will be viewed and voted by many users, and i am using Yop poll only one time in my site, but the session values are getting updated for every minute and it is blocking my site some times. Could you please let me know on this and if there any replacement for this session problem.

    Yop poll is sending some session values to get stored in our server, my server is a windows server and my site will be viewed by more than 5000 people per day, so the session values are created automatically and get stored in my server for every second. For example i am getting 100 session values (files) for every 20 seconds, this is making a big problem to my site, and currently i disabled the plugin. Please help
