# Apache Error Log

 * Hi all, we currently use WordPress for our school website (www.limavadyhigh.co.
   uk) with great success. It get’s a lot of hits and is constantly updated with
   various events that have been happening in, and out, of school. I have the job
   of maintaining the site and recently, whilst browsing through my cPanel error
   log, I noticed the same error over and over again – see below:
 * [Wed May 26 09:09:59 2010] [error] [client 85.31.137.11] (13)Permission denied:
   file permissions deny server access: /home/limavady/public_html/index.html
 * At present we have a htaccess redirect to disable viewing html pages, instead
   brining up php pages. Is there any way I can resolve this file permissions issue?
   Is it even important? The site loads perfectly and we’ve only ever had the occasional
   crash due to server load. Should I attempt to fix the above error or overlook
   it?

 * It looks like something, probably a bot, is trying to access the `index.html`
   file and it’s probably being blocked by the `.htaccess` file. Since you have 
   already disabled the viewing of .html pages, it shouldn’t be a problem.
