# API Connection Error

 * I have updated to the latest version of BFA plugin and I see this error in the
   admin dashboard:
 * Better Font Awesome
 * It looks like something went wrong when trying to fetch data from the Font Awesome
   API:
 * “Don’t worry! Better Font Awesome will still render using the included fallback
   version: 5.14.0. This may be the result of a temporary server or connectivity
   issue which will resolve shortly. However, if the problem persists please file
   a support ticket on the plugin forum, citing the errors listed above.”
 * Is there any solution for that?

 * Think it is Fontawesome themselves this time:

    Update – The GraphQL API is experiencing
   increased load and we are having difficulty keeping response times down. We are

 * Confirming this is all resolved? I’m not able to reproduce on my site, so presumably
   this was indeed a result of FA’s GraphQL API having issues.

 * Also, I confirm that the error was based on the GraphQL API of the font-awesome
   library.
 * No more errors in the admin dashboard.
