 * Hi,
    when I insert API created by the book I get a message “API key is invalid
   or API is unavailable.”
 * I tried all possible variations of the API key and no change. Any idea what is
   causing this problem?
 * Thank you!

 * I’m seeing the same thing.
 * I’ll do some digging and see if I can find the issue.

 * Hi!
 * In the Developer Console, open Library an enable “YouTube Data API v3”:
    [https://take.ms/8Hu7D](https://take.ms/8Hu7D)
 * Go to **Credentials > Create Credentials > Help Me To Choose**.
 * Under the option “Which API are you using?” choose YouTube Data API v3. And under“
   Where will you be calling the API from?” choose WebServer.

 * Hi,
    Thanks for the instructions. I did that before, still the same problem.
 * Is it working for you?
 * Kind regards,

 * I generated API once again without restrictions and “voila”, it works. Do you
   have any idea why it doesn’t work when I create domain restrictions for the API?
   I use restriction like this *.example.com/*
 * Thank you.
 * Ivan
