# API Error syncing products

 * Hi there,
 * I am using the latest version of this plugin and am getting the following error
   in the logs.
 * “There was an error trying sync products using the Catalog Batch API. You are
   calling a deprecated version of the Ads API. Please update to the latest version”
 * Could somebody advise on how to get past this? I assume it is on the plugins 
   side that hasn’t updated their API.

 * I understand that you are getting an error during your product sync.
 * I found a similar issue discussed on this thread [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/products-not-syncing-12/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/products-not-syncing-12/)
   Could you check it out and see if it resolves the issue. The newest version of
   the product catalog batch API is v.14.
 * If the issue persists, please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You 
   can find it via `WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy
   for support”`.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
