 * Hi,
 * I’m in the process of re doing by website so have transferred my site to Local
   by Fly Wheel.
 * I’ve using Reviews and Ratings on my live site and it’s working fine but am getting
   these errors on my local hosting.
 * “Your Google API Key is not valid for this request and permission is denied.
   Please check your Google API Key”
 * Also under Retrieve Data
 * {
    “error_message”: “API keys with referer restrictions cannot be used with this
   API.”, “html_attributions”: [], “status”: “REQUEST_DENIED”
 * Any help would be much appreciated!
 * Thanks,
 * John

 * [@jtm78](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jtm78/) Remember to update the IP
   Restrictions in the API Key.

 * Many thanks for the quick reply. I’ve followed the setup instructions and redone
   the IP Restrictions but still getting the same errors. Even tried doing it from
   scratch by creating a new project but that’s not worked either. Seemed to be
   fairly straight forward the first time I set things up for my live site. Could
   it be because of a setting on Local by flywheel? Is there anything else I might
   need to change on googles end? The test site is just running HTTP. Any other
   suggestions? Best wishes, John

 * [@jtm78](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jtm78/) Google seem to have changed
   their error messages – it did once specifically say the IP was incorrect and
   suggested the correct IP.
 * You can remove the IP restriction entirely and place a quota limit instead (see
   the FAQ for details). I recommend 100 requests per day – it’s the last section
   of the Places Quota page.
 * Let me know how this goes for you?
