# API Key Intermittently Valid & (Invalid

 * I’ve configured credentials for Google Maps API and added the appropriate key.
   When I check the key it will sometimes say that it is valid and sometimes invalid.
   If I get the message that it is valid and I go to Add Markers, I always then 
   get a message that the API key is no longer valid. The maps will not work despite
   all required APIs being enabled and the credentials entered. What am I missing
   here?

 * If you’re still using the plugin, could you please let me know if you have the**
   Force loading Google Maps API via this plugin (select this checkbox if you receive
   any API-key related errors on your website)** checkbox checked on the **Settings**
   tab?
 * Also, having a look at your site could speed things up. If you do not wish to
