# API Request Error

 * I managed to connect the Mailchimp for Woocommerce when trying to connect to 
   my staging environment hosted by Siteground I get the following error message:
 * Mailchimp says: API Request Error – cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 
   60003 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

 * Several people have reported this problem. I too have it. I deleted the plugin
   to reconnect it because that was the reccomended procedure for resyncing the 
   plugin for abandon cart not firing at all. Thanks for finally answereing someone
   and acknowleging the problem. I was on my way to have to change providers
