# API Request Error

 * Hi I’ve tested this plugin on xampp development site and it works fine. When 
   I tried to install plugin on live server I got “Mailchimp says: API Request Error–
   The REST API seems to be disabled on this wordpress site. Please enable to sync
   data.” No other tabs are visible except connect. Worpress meets requirements,
   other plugin with api keys works great.
    On mailchimp account there is no connection
   info.
 * Some of status data below:
    WP ver: 4.8.9 Memory limit: 1GB WC ver: 3.2.3 Informacje
   serwera: Apache/2 PHP ver: 7.3.0 cURL: 7.47.0, GnuTLS/3.4.10 Metoda Remote post:
   yes Metoda Remote get: yes Using HTTPS. Using W3Cache, but with disabled plugin
   same situation.
 * Any ideas? Would like to use it but only working…

   you’re having issues with the plugin, we definitely want to try to help out. 
   Can you check with your host to ensure that they haven’t blocked access to the`
   admin-ajax.php` file? Also, can you confirm that the REST API is enabled on your
   site?

 * Hi,
    – admin-ajax.php is accessible, – REST API is enabled.
 * It started to work when I disabled:
    – akismet anti-spam and firewall plugin –
   smush plugin – w3 total cache plugin
 * So now I need check which one is blocking mailchimp…
