# Apparent Javascript or JQuery problem is breaking site

 * Hi. I am getting the “**If you can still read these words after the page finishes
   loading, then there is a JavaScript or jQuery problem in the site**” message 
   on the Updraft Plus settings page and it doesn’t go away even if I disable all
   plugins and activate the twenty twenty three-theme. This is breaking the site.
   I read the documentation and it said to contact support if the problem isn’t 
   with the other plugins or themes. Thanks for your help!

   development tools (check [here](https://updraftplus.com/faqs/how-do-i-open-my-browsers-developer-tools/)
   for instructions if you aren’t sure) and then reload the settings page. Please
   could you reply with any errors or warning messages that you see?

 * Thank you for your reply. I am just going to delete the plugin as the issue seemed
   to have caused some issues with the layout of the site that I had to fix. I don’t
   want to have to do that again. Thanks for your help though!
