# “Appearance” button missing from dashboard

 * My appearance bar and all of the included functions have disappeared from my 
   dashboard. I can no longer edit widgets, themes, or code or do any other functions
   normally found under “appearance” on the dashboard.
 * Otherwise, the site appears and functions normally (www.hainesnews.org)
 * I’m using alibi3col theme with 16 widgets, and have some plug-ins including polls
   and WP-SpamFree that I have placed in widgets. Most recently I turned on the 
   ratings function, added an html paypal button inside of a widget, and have been
   working with a formsite html form builder (www.formsite.com) in a separate page.
   My recent upgrade from WP 2.9.1 to 2.9.2 didn’t solve the problem.
 * I would try disabling the add-ins, but don’t have access to them through the 
   dashboard menu.
 * Any ideas?
