# Apple Pay JSON Parse Error

 * When I try to pay by using Apple Pay on the product page or cart I get the following
   error:
 * _JSON Parse error: Unrecognized token ‘*’_
 * It works fine in the checkout though.
 * Any idea why this could happen?

 * Thank you for contacting Payment Plugins. It looks like you have a 3rd party 
   plugin that’s outputting an invalid response. The Stripe plugin expects the response
   to contain JSON but sometimes plugins incorrectly output text when they shouldn’t.

 * As always, thanks a lot for your extremely fast help.
 * I found out it’s related to the CleanTalk plugin. Once I disable it, everything
   works.
 * I’ll contact the CleanTalk support and let them know about it.
 * Would it help you to still have a page URL? It’s still in staging but I’m very
   happy to provide it in case you need it.

 * In case anyone has the same issue. CleanTalk already fixed the issue and it will
   be publicly available with the next official update.
