# Archiving Solution Needed

 * Hello
 * I want to know whether is there any possibility of archiving my older posts to
   some different machine or database? If there is, then will the permalinks created
   earlier for those older posts be changed automatically or they will be broken?
 * Please let me know what can be done in this regard.

 * No – it’s not possible to store posts elsewhere and retain working permalinks.
