Article (blog post) schema not applied

I have the schema settings for the ordinary post to be “Article” Blog post, but it’s not showing like that, it’s still showing as “WebPage”.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for reaching out about your site’s structured data. Please share a screeshot of what you have in the schema tab of the Yoast SEO meta box when you edit that specific post.

You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

Hi there,

I’ve added screenshots from the global YOAST page as well. Here are they both:

P.S. We’re using YOAST v21.5

Thanks for the screnshots, @dmarkovic as they provided some clarity.

Please update to Yoast SEO v22.0. Next, navigate to WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > General > Site Representation, ensure your website represents an organization and not a person and fill out the required fields.

Do let me know how it goes.

Hi there, I added org info on the version I use and that totally worked. Thanks for your help.

By the way, you should mention somewhere that Organization info is required so that the correct Schema can be applied.
