# Assets compression?

 * Hello.
    Thank you for a great plugin. Are there any plans to add compression (
   gzip, brotli) support? Tests reveal that that helps further reduce the assets
   size. Thank you.

 * As for GZIP & Brotli support, there were no plans to add this as so far the plugin’s
   configuration did not touch at all the _.htaccess_ file. Perhaps, this will change
   as there are more and more users who request features that would involve updates
   there.
