 * I have downloaded the to do list, and enabled the ability to assign tasks to
users, which I assume is supposed to give you an option to assign the tasks to
a list of users when your creating the task. but no such option is available,
even though it IS enabled. what am I doing wrong?

 * Is the List View Type on the first settings tab set to Group? The assignment
box won’t show up if it’s set to Individual.

 * thank you! that worked!!!
 * Also in the sidebar widget, I checked the option to ONLY show tasks of the SIGNED
IN user. but if I logout as if i am just a visitor who has not yet signed up
I see a list of tasks.
 * I would like it to be empty if the user is not Signed in, because all tasks will
be personal to my signed in users only.

 * by the may, maybe to better understand what I’m doing I should explain further.
I am a Therapist, and I am using the plugin in as a way to recommend personalized
lifestyle changes for my clients. each of my clients im currently working with
will have an account with there own list of changes they need to make that week.
 * So the users who are NOT my clients and do NOT have an account should not see
   anything.

 * Thanks! Glad you like it.
I will take a look at the widget to see if there’s
   a bug.

 * The way it’s set up isn’t quite what you want, but it can be.
 * Under Settings > Advanced, set Show a User Only the Items Assigned to Them to
   Yes.
 * Replace the file cleverness-to-do-list-widget.class.php (in the /includes/ folder)
   with the file here: [https://gist.github.com/cleverness/be8f73180edacea4e848/](https://gist.github.com/cleverness/be8f73180edacea4e848/)
