My client has asked me to build a feedback system so students can communicate or get feedback about an assignment. As far as I can tell there isn’t this feature in LMS. Is there a way to enable comments on the assignment page? Or has anyone found a solution that might work? At the moment you have to delete the assignment and the student has to re-submit.

I think I can build it with a form plugin but I’d rather there were an option to do this natively.

On Tutor LMS currently after submitting an assignment, the instructor can provide feedback. And the student can see the feedback. Check the video below.

Hi – yes I know about that function, but in this case they want more dialogue. They want the student to be able to reply to the feedback & then reply to that. The current function is too limited

Hello @rickblackdog,

You can enable comment feature in lesson pages (tutor settings > course tab) in addition to Q&A feature (tutor settings > design tab)- other than these you can use BuddyPress for more extensive forum features.

Thanks – I’ve looked at Buddypress but it doesn’t seem to have the function to be able to discuss privately with a user about a specific course section/assignment?
