    Hey there,

    I’ve been testing BuddyBot, and it’s looking really promising for what I need. I’m actually thinking about building an extension on top of it for some specific use cases.

    That said, I noticed it’s currently built on OpenAI’s Assistants API, which is set to be shut down in August 2026 (link below).

    Are you planning to migrate to the Responses API? If so, do you have a rough timeline you could share?

    Regarding your question about the Assistants API: yes, migrating to the Responses API is already on our product roadmap. However, at this moment, we’re unable to provide a specific timeline for this transition. Rest assured, we will keep our users informed as soon as a more concrete schedule becomes available.
