 * Hi,
    In my store, there are many products with the same attribute and their terms.
   For example, Brand -> WordPress, Woocommerce …
 * With a customization study, I can now define attributes for each category. For
   example,
    So both of them are named “Brand”, but for example, one is slug name
   is brand-a and the other is brand-b. In such a scenario, the brand-a “Brand”
   attribute for category A; For category B I can use the brand-b “Brand” attribute.
 * To come to the question I want to ask: Is it efficient to create separate attributes
   for categories in such a scenario or is it efficient to create different attributes
   for each category?
    For example, I have 100 brands for the A category. I also
   have 150 brands for the B category. Therefore, I have 250 brands.
 * Solution: One brand attribute (350)
    Solution 2: Two brand attributes (150 +
   250) Which would be more efficient?
 * Note: Color can also be considered instead of branding. Any attributes.

 * Hello there,
 * > Solution: One brand attribute (350)
 * I would definitely go for this. I don’t see why you would need to split the same
   attribute based on category. Splitting my cause issues later on when you will
   want to do something like discounts, or other stuff.
 * I’d definitely stick to one attribute only.

 * Because I’m working on a marketplace. There are many categories. Would your suggestion
   be the same again?

 * Hi [@loopforever](https://wordpress.org/support/users/loopforever/). I’m sorry
   we missed your last post. Have you been able to figure out what works best here?
 * I think the attribute option still makes sense here. For further clarification,
   would you mind letting me know what you mean by `working on a marketplace`? Do
   you mean the store you’re working on is a marketplace that has several sellers?

   WooCommerce plugin, please start a new thread and we’ll be able to help you out
   there. Thanks!
