 * Hi there,
 * Is there a way to duplicate an attribute? I’m looking to duplicate two attributes
   and put all the variations into a completely new single attribute with a new
   name.
 * Thanks for any help.
    Caroline

 * I did it by creating a new product, adding the attribute and clicking Select
   All to add all of the terms to it. Save it and then export it.
 * You’ll get a CSV file with the following columns that have the attribute items:
 * Attribute 1 name
    Attribute 1 value(s) Attribute 1 visible Attribute 1 global
 * For example:
 * Attribute 1 name,Attribute 1 value(s),Attribute 1 visible,Attribute 1 global

   Sze,Junior|Senior,0,1
 * Change the ‘Attribute 1 name’ value to your new Attribute – eg: Size 2
    Delete
   the ID column Change the SKU
 * Import this product – when it creates this new import the new Attribute will
   be created and all the values added.
 * Delete the new products when you’re done.

 * Hi sean, thanks for your reply, I am new to WooCommerce so I find this a little
   confusing (sorry). Is this the easiest way to merge two attributes (only colour
   variations) into a new single attribute?
 * I wish to keep the original two attributes, just copy both variations into one
   new one.

 * There’s no built in way to merge attributes like that.
 * But if you use this CSV import method it will work.
 * For two attributes you could create 2 new products – one for each of the existing
   attributes, export and edit like above.
