    Hi there

    Is it possible to have audio for a Youtube background

    Secondly – is it possible to have it begin at a certain point in the video

    Hello, it is not possible to unmute videos without a plugin modification.

    You can insert time parameter with ?t=xxx to start YT video at specific time.

    Thank you for this – I did try that with the time settings but unfortunately it dies not seem to work. It continues to play from the beginning.

    Ouch, you are right, it does not work, YouTube must have changed their API so we might need to replace our video scripts. It might take some time though, to work it out.

    I will keep an eye out for an update.

    Lastly (sorry for all the questions!) – are you able to include the YouTube privacy options where it does not track until played? – Though this would obviously mean that there would need to be some sort of acceptance button

    I don’t think that’s doable since background YT videos are using YT API and we do not about privacy settings in advance.

    You might include the YT video to the content as a classic iframe link?
