Title: Authenticating Doesn’t Do Anything Last modified: November 28, 2018 --- # Authenticating Doesn’t Do Anything * Resolved [developerdoll](https://wordpress.org/support/users/developerdoll/) * (@developerdoll) * [7 years, 6 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/authenticating-doesnt-do-anything/) * I’ve used your plugin many times just fine. * However, this time I click **Authenticate with your Google Account**, I authorize it, and select the correct website from the list. I click **Complete Connection** and it redirects me back to the Monster Insights settings page on my site. On that page, nothing has changed or has been added like it should be. I still see the Authenticate with Your Google Account button. There is no code added to that area. I would really like this to work, it’s a great plugin, can someone please look into this? Thanks! Also, i install the Core Control plugin and after the Google authentication I see the following trace of http calls: – POST [https://api.monsterinsights.com/v2/auth/verify/lite/](https://api.monsterinsights.com/v2/auth/verify/lite/)( 403 forbidden) – GET [https://api.monsterinsights.com/v2/test/](https://api.monsterinsights.com/v2/test/)( 200 OK) * The problem is the 403 http status for the 1rst call. * I just submit an issue to lite Support.
