# Authenticating gmail

 * I’m trying to authenticate my gmail to my new blog. I purchased the URL to go
   with it, but I guess I’ll need to also purchase the $30 upgrade so I can add 
   the html file from google apps to authenticate it so I can proceed with getting
   the email setup. This sound correct?

 * $30 upgrade? Are you sure you have a self-hosted WordPress site? Sounds like 
   you may be talking about a WordPress.com site. If so, sorry, these forums are
   for self-hosted (wordpress.org) sites.
