# Authentication failed, plugin appears inactive

 * Hello,
 * I keep getting this error when trying to add a new WordPress site in Zapier. “
   authentication failed: The Zapier WordPress plugin has not been activated on 
   this WordPress site.” However the plugin is installed and activated. Have tried
   everything to debug this, deactivated all plugins, switched to default theme,
   etc.
 * Is the plugin just broken or is there a conflict (not sure with what) that might
   be causing this? Using the latest versions of the plugin and WordPress.
