# Authentication Required – Why?

 * When I tried to “Save Draft” today I got a pop up that said “Authentication Required”
   A username and password are being requested by [http://performancetrends.com](http://performancetrends.com).
   The site says: “Magic”
 * I entered my user name and password but it didn’t work. (I immediately changed
   my password after it didn’t work). I’m still getting this pop up, has anyone 
   seen this, has my blog been hacked?
 * Any help would be greatly appreciated,

 * Hi, I’m getting the exact same error message from a server called “Magic” when
   I try to save any changes to my pages. My active plugins are MM Forms, WP-ads,
   WP-polls, FAlbum, and WP List Files.
